In the evening, the rescue team led by Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hai, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee Organizing Committee, along with police forces and volunteers, came to reinforce support. The team carried more jet skis, inflatable boats, and motorboats to maneuver into heavily flooded areas. Immediately, the team deployed to rescue Ms. Huynh Thi Lieu, over 80 years old, who was stuck in the flood and out of food. At around 8:00 p.m., more canoes and provincial police forces arrived to support.
Information was reported that 11 people, including many children, were trapped; among them were the wife and 3 small children of Mr. Tran Ngoc Nhan, Nong Nghiep village, Tay Hoa commune. Although he had just had leg surgery at the hospital, Mr. Nhan still had to limp and grope in the flood night to find forces to bring his wife and children out. The deployment plans were not feasible, making him even more worried. The rescue force both encouraged him and deployed appropriate means and approaches.

When his wife and children were moved out, Mr. Nhan was very happy: "I am so happy, if I had not been rescued tonight, I don't know what would have happened to the children. I don't know what else to say, thank you a thousand times to the rescuers." When he saw his wife and children, Mr. Nhan held back his pain, led the rescue team in the flood night to continue saving other people...
The rain was getting heavier and heavier, the rescue team was very tired, hungry, and cold, but thinking of the people who were still waiting, everyone tried their best to continue the work. At nearly 1 a.m. on November 21, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, brought the two newly rescued people to the Tay Hoa commune hall. Here, hundreds of people were temporarily housed and provided with food and water.
