Awarding 39 scholarships to students who overcome difficulties to excel in English

(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of June 9, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education in collaboration with the IVS Quang Ngai English School Alumni Group organized a scholarship awarding ceremony for high school students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in English. Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Bui Duc Tho attended.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 39 scholarships to high school students who overcame difficulties to excel in English. Each scholarship is worth 2 million VND (including 1 million VND in cash and 1 million VND in kind).

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Bui Duc Tho spoke at the scholarship award ceremony.

Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Bui Duc Tho praised the students' spirit of overcoming difficulties to excel in English. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude to the IVS Scholarship Fund Executive Board and the former students of IVS Quang Ngai English School.

Mr. Bui Duc Tho hopes that the Department of Education and Training will always create conditions for foreign language centers to develop under strict control to ensure the quality of education and improve the quality of teaching and learning English.
