Awarding Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 36 groups with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the Exhibition "80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness"

On the evening of September 15, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and delivered a speech at the closing ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme: "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" held at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh commune, Hanoi city.

Attending the program were comrade Tran Quoc Vuong, former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat; comrade Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh , Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; comrade Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs; comrades of the Party Central Committee, leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of ministries, branches and localities; distinguished guests representing countries, international organizations, and a large number of people, friends and international tourists.

The exhibition of national achievements "80 years of journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" is an important event in the series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2. With the largest scale ever, rich content and creative expression, the Exhibition has left its mark with record numbers, warmly welcomed by the people and made a deep impression on international friends.

At the closing ceremony, to recognize the outstanding contributions and achievements of groups and individuals in organizing and participating in the exhibition; as well as to encourage and motivate the exhibition participants to promote their creativity, invest in improving the quality of design, content and display methods, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to award Certificates of Merit to 36 groups. Along with that, the Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee awarded the "Outstanding Exhibition Space" award to the participating units.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Party and State leaders awarded Certificates of Merit to 36 collectives with outstanding achievements; awarded and congratulated the units that won the "Outstanding Exhibition Space" award at the Exhibition.

Accordingly, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to award 36 Certificates of Merit to the following groups: Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Office of the National Assembly, Office of the Government, Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Audit, Supreme People's Procuracy, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Government Inspectorate, State Bank of Vietnam, Vietnam Television, Vietnam News Agency, Voice of Vietnam, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Hanoi People's Committee, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Hai Phong City People's Committee, Can Tho City People's Committee, Hung Yen Province People's Committee, Quang Ninh Province People's Committee, Hue City People's Committee, Dong Nai Province People's Committee, Quang Tri Province People's Committee and Lam Dong Province People's Committee.

The Organizing Committee awarded 50 "Outstanding Exhibition Space" awards to units participating in the Exhibition:

I. 15 "Outstanding Exhibition Space" awards from central ministries, branches, agencies, including: Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Office of the National Assembly; Office of the Government; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministry of National Defense; Ministry of Public Security; Ministry of Construction; Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Industry and Trade; Ministry of Home Affairs; Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; State Bank of Vietnam; Government Inspectorate; Nhan Dan Newspaper and Vietnam Television.

II. 15 "Outstanding Exhibition Space" awards from provinces and centrally-run cities, including: Hanoi, Hai Phong; Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Dien Bien, Thanh Hoa, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Lam Dong; Ho Chi Minh City; Tay Ninh, Vinh Long provinces.

III. 20 "Outstanding Exhibition Space" awards of typical state-owned enterprises and private enterprises, including: Vietnam Railways Corporation, Vietnam Electricity Group, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, Vietnam Airlines Corporation, Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group, Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Hoa Phat Group, Vingroup - Joint Stock Company, Tran Phu Electromechanical Joint Stock Company, Hiep Hoa Auto Corporation Joint Stock Company, Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company, Thanh Cong Group Joint Stock Company, Automech Mechanical Equipment and Solutions Joint Stock Company, ATAD Steel Structure Joint Stock Company, An Cuong Wood Joint Stock Company, Trung Nguyen Group Joint Stock Company, Sun Group Joint Stock Company, MIK Group Vietnam Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Textile and Garment Group.
