Handing over the Consular Acceptance Certificate to the Consul General of Panama in Ho Chi Minh City

On May 28, at the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director of the Consular Department Doan Hoang Minh presented the Consular Acceptance Certificate to Ms. Nubiela Yanarith Ayala Modes, the new Consul General of Panama in Ho Chi Minh City. Ms. Nubiela Yanarith Ayala Modes is currently holding the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Panama to Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of the Consular Department congratulated Ms. Nubiela Yanarith Ayala Modes on her new position as Consul General, believing that with her experience, she will make positive contributions to the development of the two countries' relations in general and consular relations in particular.

Director Doan Hoang Minh affirmed that the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs , including the Consular Department and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs, together with relevant authorities, will always accompany, coordinate and create favorable conditions for the Consulate General of Panama to operate effectively, contributing to further enhancing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.

For her part, Ms. Nubiela Yanarith Ayala Modes sincerely thanked Director Doan Hoang Minh for taking the time to receive and present the Consular Acceptance Certificate. She expressed her honor to assume the role of Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City and was delighted with the positive developments in the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Panama and Vietnam in recent times.

Ms. Nubiela Yanarith Ayala Modes affirmed that in her new position, she will make every effort to continue promoting and deepening bilateral cooperation in many fields, especially in consular work and people-to-people exchange between the two countries.
