Awarding Party Badges on September 2nd

On the morning of August 13th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a ceremony to present Party Badges for the September 2nd, 2024 commemoration to senior Party members.

Provincial Party Secretary Bui Van Nghiem presents the 80-year Party membership badge to Party member Dang Nam Tuan.

Accordingly, on this occasion, the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee decided to award and posthumously award Party Badges to 396 Party members with 30 to 80 years of Party membership; including 393 awarded to Party members and 3 posthumously awarded to Party members. At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee awarded Party Badges for 50 years of Party membership or more to 52 comrades in attendance. Among them, Comrade Dang Nam Tuan, a member of the Party Committee of Ward 4 (Vinh Long City), was awarded the 80-year Party Membership Badge.

The comrades receiving the Party Badge are outstanding Party members with firm political views and stances, who have made important contributions to the cause of building and developing the province; together with the collective of agencies and units, they have built unity and consensus in will and action within the Party, and have successfully fulfilled the duties of a Party member in their workplace and Party activities.

Provincial Party Secretary Bui Van Nghiem presented the 70-year and 65-year Party membership badges.

Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, congratulated the comrades who were honored to receive the prestigious Party Badge. He also expressed his hope that Party members would continue to uphold their traditions and experience, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and government; actively participating in local movements, and contributing to the construction and development of the province.
