Donating 'Rainbow Bookcases' to child patients.

QTO - In response to the 2026 Action Month for Children and on the occasion of International Children's Day on June 1st, on May 29th, the Women's Association of the Criminal Police Department, Provincial Police, organized a program to visit, encourage, and present "Rainbow Bookcases" to child patients receiving treatment at the Pediatric Department of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi.

During the program, the association mobilized, collected donations, and presented more than 1,000 children's books and stories with rich content suitable for the age group to child patients.

The "Rainbow Bookcase" is expected to become a beneficial reading space, helping children find more joy, reduce stress and fatigue during their treatment days; and at the same time contribute to spreading reading culture, nurturing their souls and giving them more strength to overcome illness.

On this occasion, the Women's Association of the Criminal Police Department also presented nearly 70 gifts to children undergoing treatment at the hospital and allocated an additional 5 meaningful gifts to support children with blood diseases from disadvantaged backgrounds, aiming to encourage them and their families to have more confidence in their treatment journey.

This activity carries profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and sharing for the community of the female officers and members of the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police, thereby contributing to spreading the beautiful image of courageous, compassionate female police officers serving the people.
