At the event, 500 impoverished patients receiving treatment in various departments, including Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care, Intensive Care and Toxicology, Oncology, and General Pediatrics, received gifts worth 500,000 VND each. They also participated in a "Zero-Cost Booth" offering essential items such as rice, biscuits, milk, bottled water, instant noodles, cooking oil, diapers, and baby wipes. Each gift represented a smile and a gesture of kindness for those in need.
For Ms. Cam Thi Hang's family (Ra Rah hamlet, Nam Nung commune, Lam Dong province), two children with thalassemia are undergoing long-term treatment at the Pediatric Department. These gifts at the beginning of the Lunar New Year are very heartwarming. She said that her two children have been ill for 14 years, and her family is facing great difficulties. Receiving the gifts made her very happy, and she expressed her gratitude to the doctors and nurses for caring for those in difficult circumstances like hers.

Patient Pham Ngoc Duc (from Buon Ho ward, Dak Lak province) emotionally shared that he has been undergoing dialysis for 17 years. His chronic illness has made his family's situation even more difficult. This Tet holiday, Mr. Duc is very happy to receive care and support from the hospital and benefactors, giving him more motivation to overcome his illness.
In recent days, organizations, units, and localities in Dak Lak have organized many activities to care for people during Tet (Lunar New Year), including disadvantaged patients. Notable activities include: setting up "Zero-Cost" stalls; donating gifts, essential goods, and free meals... helping to alleviate the economic burden and boost the morale of patients. These activities demonstrate the spirit of mutual support and community solidarity during the Tet holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026.
