Over 3 billion VND to join hands to take care of social security

(CT) - According to the Can Tho City Branch of the Social Policy Bank, in the first 6 months of 2025, the Branch mobilized staff and employees to contribute over 78 million VND to the banking sector movement "Join hands to eliminate 1,000 temporary and dilapidated houses"; donated 50 million VND to the city's "For the Poor" Fund. Staff and civil servants of the unit deducted their salaries to support 12 poor students who overcame difficulties to study well and continue to go to school, an amount of 500,000 VND/month/student. In addition, the Social Policy Bank contributed 180 million VND to localities to organize social security activities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.
