To commemorate the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), a delegation from the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Comrade Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families, meritorious individuals, and historical witnesses in the province.

The delegation visited Mr. Lam Anh Lu (Hamlet 14, An Xuyen Ward), who directly participated in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign in 1975, and Mr. Le Vinh Tuoc (Hamlet 1, Ly Van Lam Ward), former Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, a historical witness to the moment of complete victory.
On behalf of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Pham Van Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (fourth from the right), presented a gift of gratitude to Mr. Lam Anh Lu.
The delegation members listened as Mr. Lam Anh Lu, former Deputy Commander of Ca Mau town, recounted his years of fighting.
At each location visited, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Pham Van Thieu, cordially inquired about the health of the families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious individuals, expressed deep gratitude for their contributions and sacrifices; and also provided information on the province's socio -economic development and wished the families continued happiness, good health, and the upholding of revolutionary traditions.

* On the same day, a delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Phan Hoang Vu visited Heroic Vietnamese Mother Doan Thi Cuong, 90 years old, residing in Hamlet 9, Tri Phai Commune.
Heroic Vietnamese Mother Doan Thi Cuong's husband and son both served in Battalion 307 - the first mobile main force unit of the Southern Vietnamese army and people during the resistance war - and sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
