In 2023, the province's military recruitment work received strong leadership and direction from the Party Committee, government, and Military Service Council at all levels, and was implemented seriously in all stages and steps. The registration and management of young people of eligible age for military service; preliminary selection, political vetting, health examinations; finalizing the number of recruits and issuing conscription orders; and organizing the troop handover ceremony were all meticulously carried out, adhering to proper procedures, ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness. The recruitment and conscription of citizens into the military and the People's Public Security service achieved a 100% success rate (including 2,502 citizens enlisting in the military and 466 citizens performing their duties in the People's Public Security service).
In 2024, Dak Lak province was assigned the target of recruiting 2,550 citizens for military service and over 470 citizens for public security service. At the conference, delegates discussed and shared difficulties and shortcomings, and proposed solutions to achieve the recruitment targets.
