The 'David Hockney 25' exhibition at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, Paris.

On April 9, 2025, the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris opened a large-scale exhibition titled 'David Hockney 25', showcasing over 400 works by British artist David Hockney, spanning from 1955 to 2025.

The exhibition focuses specifically on Hockney's last 25 years of creative work, including digital paintings created on an iPad. In addition, notable works such as "Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)" are also on display.

David Hockney is one of the most famous and influential contemporary artists in the United Kingdom. He was born on July 9, 1937, in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. His paintings of swimming pools, particularly "Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)," are among the most expensive paintings ever sold by a living artist.

The exhibition is housed in a unique building designed by architect Frank Gehry, marking the first time an entire space at the Fondation Louis Vuitton has been dedicated to a living artist. The exhibition will be open from April 9 to August 31, 2025.
