The Thua Thien Provincial Party Committee (now the Hue City Party Committee) was established in April 1930, right after the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam .
As soon as it was established, the Thua Thien Provincial Party Committee led the people in the revolutionary movements of 1930-1931; 1936-1939; unanimously rose up to overthrow the Nguyen Dynasty's feudal regime, regain power for the people, and contributed decisively to the overall victory of the August Revolution in 1945.
During the resistance war against French colonialism, the Party Committee and people of Hue city achieved many outstanding feats and were awarded the rotating flag "Determined to fight and win" by President Ho Chi Minh. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, Hue was an important strategic location in terms of politics , military and diplomacy.

In the spring of 1975, Hue city was completely liberated. The Hue city Party Committee was commended by the Central Party Committee as "Hue Party Committee is steadfast in ideology, strong in organization, internally clean, united and unanimous".
During the years of renovation, the Party Committee and people of the city have strived to achieve many great achievements in all fields of politics, economy, culture, society, national defense and security, and building the political system.
In 2025, Thua Thien Hue province is proud to become Hue city directly under the Central Government, opening up new opportunities and new fortunes for Hue city to continue to make breakthroughs, creating higher development steps, worthy of the role and position of the historical, political and cultural city of the country.

The exhibition “The Party’s Call to the Heart” displays and introduces more than 300 images, documents, and artifacts, focusing on three main contents: Calling on the people to participate in the resistance war (1930-1975); Calling on and accompanying the people to overcome the consequences of war and carry out the renovation process (1975-1989); Solidarity, renovation, and development (1989 to present).
Valuable documents and artifacts on display include: President Ho's rotating award-winning flag of determination to fight and win; leaflets and slogans promoting revolution in the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism; the slogan "Long live the Vietnamese Workers' Party" used in Party admission ceremonies, original documents on Party building work...
The exhibition gives viewers an overview of the Party's history, major policies and decisions for the development of the revolutionary movement through historical periods.
In particular, the exhibition also depicts the image of President Ho Chi Minh as the founder and trainer of our Party and his concern for the Party Committee and people of Hue city.

The exhibition not only recreates the heroic historical journey of the Hue City Party Committee from 1930 to the present, but also contributes to fostering patriotism, pride and a sense of responsibility in each cadre and party member, especially the younger generation.
