This is an exhibition center invested in on a world- class and continental scale, and is also a very modern address, opening up a classy, ​​large-scale address for the Vietnamese exhibition industry, and from here it can be a milestone to bring the Vietnamese exhibition industry to a new level.

At the same time, it is also a place to introduce the economy , especially the creative economy of cultural industry and the Vietnamese exhibition industry itself will have a new development step in the history of the Vietnamese economy." - Deputy Minister Ho An Phong emphasized.

According to the Deputy Minister, the world highly values ​​the creative economy, human creativity is very large, the value of the cultural industry is also very large. Cultural resources are different from other types of resources, because the more they are exploited, the more they will not be exhausted, and if exploited well, they will increase in value greatly. We sell the customer's experience. Therefore, the Vietnamese cultural industry has a lot of room for development.

In the near future, the Government will issue a national strategy on the development of Vietnam's cultural industries to 2030 with a vision to 2045. In particular, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is assigned by the Government to develop a project on the development of Vietnam's entertainment industry to submit to the Government and the Politburo . In the near future, the entertainment industry, cultural industry, and creative economy are some of the steps that Resolution 57 of the Politburo has mentioned very clearly and at a high level.

"Recently, all the statistics from the General Statistics Office showed that 12 Vietnamese cultural industries and the Vietnamese creative economy currently contribute 4.04% to GDP. With the current growth rate, the goal is that by 2030, the creative economy and cultural industries can contribute, especially cultural tourism contributes about 7% to GDP." - The Deputy Minister believes.

The Deputy Minister also added that if Vietnamese culture is exported to the world, it will be on par with the world. Vietnamese tourism with Vietnamese culture and people, beautiful nature of Vietnam can completely develop tourism and cultural industry to become one of the leading fields to help Vietnam reach out to the world.

Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) signed a cooperation agreement with units

With the determination of the Government, the dynamism of the private sector and the cooperation of international partners, Vietnam can absolutely become a leading exhibition destination in Asia in the near future.

At the conference, Ms. Ramona Fischer, Representative of GL Events, said that Thailand is currently a “giant” in the world exhibition industry, ranked 25th, while Vietnam is ranked 46th. In just a few years, Thailand has achieved a high ranking in the world in the exhibition and conference industry, although Thailand's starting point is just beginning, but now, they are a key player.

“The exhibition industry has a lot of potential, requiring great international cooperation and we have a mission to promote VEC as a world-class, global destination. It requires cooperation with key partners and we are one of them. VEC is a new player in the field of trade exhibition business events but VEC also increases global competitiveness and aims to be a global destination and economic growth…” – Ms. Ramona Fischer said.

Ms. Ramona Fischer also hopes that VEC will become a rising star in the exhibition industry. At the conference, Ms. Pham Thai Ha, CEO of VEC, said that this exhibition center has 3 main points: Intrinsic strength; Resonant strength and Comprehensive organizational capacity.

VEC with a total area of ​​90 hectares, is now the largest exhibition in Southeast Asia, in the top 10 list of the largest exhibition centers in the world and was constructed in only 10 months to provide a complete package for all events, becoming a perfect connection point between Vietnam and the world.

“It only takes us 3-5 minutes to get to the center of Hanoi, 15 minutes to Noi Bai International Airport and 1 hour and 15 minutes to Hai Phong port. With the multi-level scale of VEC synchronously including Kim Quy Exhibition Hall, Outdoor Area, Exhibition Hall Block A, VinPalace Convention Center as well as some areas that will continue to be invested in and expanded in the future, we affirm that this is a world-class “All in One” model” – Ms. Pham Thai Ha shared.

On the first day, VEC welcomed more than 230,000 visitors. At the conference alone, VEC signed 10 MOU contracts with major international and domestic partners./.
