Braving the sun and rain to get a prime location to watch the A80 parade 24 hours in advance

Although the A80 parade rehearsal took place on the morning of August 30, people and tourists flocked to beautiful locations in the center of Hanoi 24 hours in advance.

According to Lao Dong's records at noon on August 29, hundreds of people and tourists were present at the Hung Vuong - Tran Phu intersection in Hanoi - one of the "golden" locations to watch the A80 parade rehearsal on the morning of August 30 and the previous days.

Some people have been here since last night, bringing mats, tarpaulins, umbrellas, raincoats, food, drinks... to choose a good spot to watch the parade.

Ms. Le Thi Ba (Long Bien, Hanoi) and Le Thi Binh (Hoang Mai, Hanoi) and their relatives arrived at the Hung Vuong - Tran Phu intersection early in the morning of August 29 when the sun had not yet risen. The group had nearly 10 people, taking turns to reserve seats, and when tired, they would return to their rented rooms to rest.

Dinh Thi Quyen, a student from Quang Ninh , checked in at the A80 parade route. Quyen and her friend started lining up at 10:30, both planning to take turns holding seats.

People find ways to beat the heat and relax while waiting. The weather is hot at noon, with temperatures reaching around 31 degrees Celsius. From night to morning, there are occasional scattered rains.

Police remind residents and tourists to ensure order and environmental sanitation. The A80 parade rehearsal is scheduled to take place at 6:30 a.m. on August 30 (reserve date is August 31).
