Mud, garbage, broken tree branches… are still scattered after the historic flood.

The clean-up work encountered many difficulties due to the thick, muddy mass; the amount of garbage, tree branches, and floating objects accumulated over a large area. The hot sun made the clean-up work quite difficult.

However, with a sense of responsibility, officers and soldiers of Hanoi Police still make efforts, regardless of hardship, actively support people in cleaning and unclogging sewers, contributing to ensuring environmental sanitation, preventing epidemics and helping people stabilize their lives soon.

The hot weather made the cleaning work difficult.

Witnessing hundreds of officers and soldiers in police uniforms present in every alley and every household, Ms. Vu Thi Canh (Hamlet 4, Ngo Dao village) said that she and the villagers were very moved. Although there was still a shortage of fresh water, the villagers brought drinking water to support the officers and soldiers, strengthening the relationship between the army and the people. Thanks to the dedicated help of the police officers and soldiers and other forces, the villagers were able to restore their houses and living environment, and soon stabilize their lives.
