General Secretary To Lam offers flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and heroic martyrs at Military Region 9.

(CPV) – On the morning of December 8, in Can Tho, General Secretary To Lam and other Party and State leaders; leaders of central ministries and branches, the Military Region 9 Command and local leaders in the Military Region visited the Victory Monument, burned incense to commemorate heroic martyrs and President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House.

At the Victory Monument and the Memorial House of the Heroes and Martyrs of Military Region 9, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, General Secretary To Lam and the delegation observed a minute of silence to pay their respects to the Heroes and Martyrs; the beloved sons of the Fatherland who spared no effort in sacrificing their blood and bones for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Throughout the history of the struggle to build and defend the country, millions of the nation's outstanding sons have devoted their youth to the Fatherland, bravely fought and heroically sacrificed on all battlefields of the country. The blood of the martyrs has reddened the glorious flag of the Fatherland, allowing the country to blossom with independence and bear fruit of freedom.

In this sacred moment, before the heroic martyrs' souls, with pride and steadfast belief in the glorious Party and great Uncle Ho, the General Secretary and the Working Group vow to study, fight and work, worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs; always unite in one heart, absolutely loyal to the Party, the State, the socialist regime and the People; constantly promote revolutionary heroism, the good nature and tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, determined to successfully implement the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, contributing to building and firmly protecting the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

* At the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, before his spirit, the General Secretary and the working delegation were extremely moved and proud to offer a ceremony and light incense to express their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions and noble sacrifices of President Ho Chi Minh to the Party's revolutionary cause.../.
