With the determination to innovate from the digital platform, the library has gradually expanded online services, optimized business processes and improved reader experience, contributing to the modernization of the province's public library.

The provincial library system serves more than 140,000 people, of which young readers make up the majority.
According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Duong , the provincial library has deployed an electronic library management system, allowing document searches, online card registration, and document borrowing and returning according to an integrated model. Professional activities such as cataloging and document inventory are supported by barcode technology and modern management software, helping to save time and improve accuracy.
A notable breakthrough is the expansion of online services for local readers. Readers can search, register for cards and use services remotely via the provincial library website. This is especially meaningful for people in suburban areas and districts far from the center, helping to narrow the gap in access to digital knowledge. This is just the beginning, but the model shows many positive effects, such as reducing pressure on the library, creating convenience for readers in the future.

In parallel, the provincial library has coordinated with local school libraries to deploy management software, data transmission, and digital skills instruction for students and teachers. Thanks to that, the digital library network in the province is more closely connected, creating opportunities for resource sharing between the provincial library, district library and schools. Although not yet fully interconnected, this pilot step is an important premise for expanding the system.
However, digital transformation in Binh Duong (HCMC) also faces challenges. Financial resources for investment in digital infrastructure and IT human resources in libraries in some districts are limited. In addition, training librarians and transforming thinking from traditional methods to digital environments also requires time and long-term support.
Looking forward, the goal of Binh Duong Provincial Library is to complete the digital platform, expand the connection of resources between the provincial library and local libraries, continue to update e-books, digital documents and develop services to support readers through mobile applications. At that time, the Provincial Library will truly become a "digital knowledge bridge" in the community, helping people easily access knowledge anytime, anywhere.
