Hanoi promotes OCOP products, craft villages of Thach That commune

On the evening of October 17, the "Exhibition to promote and connect OCOP products, handicrafts and craft villages serving tourism in Thach That commune" opened.

The event was organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People's Committee of Thach That commune to celebrate the success of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The exhibition brings together OCOP products, handicrafts, and typical products of rural industrial establishments, businesses, and typical artisans. The event has 80 standard booths and a display area introducing OCOP products, traditional products of Thach That commune and other localities in the city.

According to Mr. Hoang Minh Lam, Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting, the event is not only a trade promotion activity, but also a journey connecting traditional values ​​and modern life; a place where artisans and young designers create products with their own mark; an opportunity for businesses in the capital to expand cooperation and reach new markets.

This is a testament to the government's support for the business community, contributing to improving competitiveness and affirming the position of OCOP products and Hanoi craft villages not only domestically but also in the international market.

The event is also part of a series of activities to promote and trade OCOP products and craft villages serving tourism in 2025 - an important launching pad for Hanoi products to participate more deeply in the global value chain.

On the local side, Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach That Commune, said that the commune currently has more than 400 enterprises, economic organizations and thousands of production and business households. The main products include mechanics, wooden products, garments, confectionery, etc. In particular, the commune has more than 20 OCOP products that meet 3-4 star standards, imbued with the identity of the homeland.

At the exhibition, Thach That commune introduced many typical products such as An yellow flower tea, Thach That milk grapes, along with high-quality handicrafts and OCOP products that have been present at many major events in the capital and the whole country. The event will last until October 20.
