Vietnam is a stable investment destination, Vietnam - China cooperation still has a lot of potential

Vietnam is becoming one of the most stable and attractive investment destinations in the region, with great potential for cooperation with China in many fields including economics, trade and technology, in the context of the two countries moving towards sustainable development and innovation.

This is the assessment of Mr. Su Trung Tuan, Secretary General of the China - ASEAN Center, when interviewed by a VNA reporter in Beijing.

Mr. Su Trung Tuan said that the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China are both rapidly developing economies , in which Vietnam is emerging as a leading country in terms of growth in the region, with large market potential and strong development capacity. Vietnam possesses special advantages such as a large market size, abundant labor force and high economic growth rate. Meanwhile, China has advantages in science, technology, complete production chains and large industrial market scale.

According to Mr. Su Trung Tuan, the two countries can complement each other in cooperation in many fields, especially in industrial cooperation, technological innovation and green development. He emphasized: "Vietnam and China both have their own advantages in economic and industrial cooperation, and also have great potential for cooperation."

Assessing Vietnam's investment environment, Mr. Su Trung Tuan pointed out two highlights. First, Vietnam is a peaceful country with a stable investment environment and highly continuous policies, creating confidence for foreign investors. Second, Vietnam has applied a government -led development model, in which the government plays an active role in supporting, removing difficulties and providing practical services to businesses in the process of attracting investment. He commented: "This approach is a special advantage of Vietnam, and also a clear strength in recent years."

The Secretary General of the China-ASEAN Center said that after many years of development, Vietnam's economy and management capacity have reached a certain level, capable of entering a new development phase, focusing on technological innovation, transforming the growth model and sustainable development.

Mr. Su Trung Tuan also expressed his hope that in the coming time, more Chinese enterprises will come to Vietnam to learn, cooperate and develop together, thereby improving industrial capacity and contributing to the common prosperity of the two economies. He noted: "In the context of rapid development of science and technology, the two countries need to promote the spirit of creativity and innovation in economic cooperation", and believed that China - Vietnam cooperation will become increasingly deeper and more effective, bringing practical benefits to both sides.
