PAN Group: Agriculture and Environment Newspaper always reflects the truth and spreads what is right

Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra My, General Director of PAN Group and Chairwoman of Vinaseed, expressed at the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of Tac Dat Newspaper - Agriculture and Environment Newspaper.

Sharing at the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of the establishment of Tac Dat Newspaper, the predecessor of Agriculture and Environment Newspaper (December 4, 1945 - December 4, 2025), Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra My, General Director of PAN Group, Chairwoman of Vinaseed Board of Directors, expressed her honor to represent the two units to attend the solemn ceremony and sent deep congratulations to the collective leadership, reporters and editors of Agriculture and Environment Newspaper.

Recalling the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh sent to Tac Dat Newspaper in 1945 with the saying "The guidance of Tac Dat Newspaper is as precious as an inch of gold", the business representative said that this is a message whose value remains intact after eight decades.

She said that over the past 80 years, the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper has not only been responsible for reporting news but also accompanying the development process of the industry, keeping the flame of faith for farmers and remaining steadfast in the face of market, climate and technology fluctuations.

Ms. Tra My emphasized what she often shared with the PAN and Vinaseed teams: "No one understands our industry as deeply as agricultural reporters." According to her, in every difficult period - from researching circular economic models for shrimp and fish, innovating technology, developing new varieties, to leading low-carbon agriculture when the market is still skeptical, the Newspaper is always the place to "ask the right questions, write the right stories, reflect the truth and spread the right things." This companionship, she emphasized, is not just media cooperation but trust, and trust is something that cannot be bought with money.

Relating the 80-year journey of the Newspaper with the nearly 60-year journey of Vinaseed, Ms. Tra My said that although the name has changed over time, the core values ​​of the enterprise, accompanying farmers, developing the best products and contributing to Vietnam's agriculture, have never changed.

“We are the ones carrying the legacy into the future,” she said, opening up the idea of ​​a new phase of agriculture based on technology, data, research and development, breeding, regenerative agriculture, low carbon and the circular economy.

To go that way, she believes that the agricultural sector needs businesses that dare to invest long-term, scientists who are brave enough to pursue difficult problems, farmers who are willing to change, and especially a newspaper that "dare to speak boldly - speak correctly - speak for the progress of the sector". According to her, that is what the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper has shown over the past 80 years and will continue to be even stronger in the future.

On the occasion of the Anniversary, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tra My sent her deepest congratulations to the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, thanking those who have silently kept the fire burning for the agricultural sector with perseverance, steadfastness and simplicity. She affirmed that PAN Group and Vinaseed will continue to accompany the Newspaper, joining hands to create a modern, green, smart and sustainable Vietnamese agriculture.
