Spectrum Exhibition - Playground of creative ideas

On the afternoon of July 25, in Hung Yen, British University Vietnam (BUV) held the opening ceremony of the Spectrum Student Exhibition - Summer Show 2025. The event attracted the participation of hundreds of students, lecturers, business representatives and industry experts.

Spectrum is an inter-student exhibition, bringing together outstanding projects from 3 years of study of students in 2 training programs: Contemporary Creative Practice and Professional Communication.

Inspired by the spectrum of colors and shapes, the exhibition demonstrates the creativity, academic thinking and independent personality of each student – the elements that make up SoCCI's unique academic identity.

Professor Rick Bennett, Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President of British University Vietnam, spoke at the event.

Dr. Paul David John Moody, Head of the School of Communication & Creativity, British University Vietnam, spoke at the event.

The exhibition opens with a series of graduation projects by final-year students of the Contemporary Creative Practice major, spanning the fields of graphic design, illustration, photography and animation. These works are the result of a research-practice process spanning the 2024–2025 academic year, with a depth of expertise, technique and aesthetic thinking that is highly appreciated.

Graduation projects demonstrate the diverse individual creative imprints of students.

The exhibition also displays portfolios and personal branding of each student, demonstrating the professional preparation of young people entering the creative market after graduation.

Outstanding creative projects from first and second year students are featured at the exhibition.

Dr. Paul DJ Moody, Head of the Faculty of Communication & Creativity at BUV shared: “The Spectrum – SoCCI Summer Show 2025 is a special event of the Faculty of Communication & Creativity, harmoniously combining academic depth and practicality. This is not only a space to display works, but also creates opportunities for students to spread new perspectives, express independent thinking and personal imprints to the professional community and art-loving public through many diverse creative forms."

Spectrum – Summer Show 2025 will be open to the public from July 22 to December 31, 2025 at the Art Gallery, 2nd floor, Building E, BUV campus.
