Exhibition of documents on the formation of the national language in Binh Dinh

Accordingly, the exhibition includes 4 main topics: The role of the National language in Vietnam, Binh Dinh in the embryonic formation of the National language, the process of spreading the National language in Binh Dinh, promoting the value of cultural heritage forming the National language in Binh Dinh.

The exhibition takes place at the Binh Dinh Provincial Historical Archives Center from April 5 to June 30.

Delegates listened to an introduction about the role of Binh Dinh in the formation of the national language.

According to Mr. Lam Truong Dinh, Director of the Binh Dinh Provincial Historical Archives Center, Binh Dinh land not only has a rich historical and cultural tradition with many types of tangible and intangible cultural heritages, but is also a place with important and dominant influence in the embryonic stage of the formation of the national language in the early 17th century.

Through historical documents, Nuoc Man port (Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh) is the place that marked an important milestone in the formation of the national language in the early 17th century (1618 - 1625). Lang Song printing house (Tuy Phuoc district) is one of the first three establishments printing the national language in Vietnam, including Tan Dinh printing house (Saigon), Ninh Phu printing house ( Hanoi ) and Lang Song printing house. Therefore, the land and people of Binh Dinh have made important contributions to the process of conception, formation, development and dissemination of the national language.

"The exhibition introduces hundreds of documents, materials and images to affirm the role of Binh Dinh as one of the places where the "original creation of the National Language" was born; contributing to raising awareness about the formation and dissemination of the National Language in Binh Dinh and preserving, reviving and promoting the values ​​of historical and cultural heritage and developing local tourism in the coming time," said Mr. Lam Truong Dinh.

Documents on the formation of the national language are introduced at the exhibition.
