In the draft Decree stipulating the levels of allowances, subsidies, and preferential treatment for people who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, the Ministry of Interior proposes raising the standard allowance for people who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution to 3,012,000 VND (hereinafter referred to as the standard) from January 1, 2027. Compared to the current standard of 2,789,000 VND, this proposed increase is 223,000 VND.

This standard serves as the basis for calculating the level of allowances, subsidies, and preferential treatment for those who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution and their relatives. Therefore, if approved, allowances for those who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution, relatives of martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and their relatives... will increase from January 1, 2027.

The Ministry of Interior also proposed increasing the levels of support and subsidies as follows:

- The fee for visiting martyrs' graves and relocating martyrs' remains will be increased from 3,000 VND/km/person to 5,000 VND/km/person;

- The fee for exhuming the remains of fallen soldiers has increased from 4,000,000 VND per set of remains to 5,000,000 VND per set of remains.

- The allowance for commemorating fallen soldiers has been adjusted upwards from 1,400,000 VND/fallen soldier/year to 1,600,000 VND/fallen soldier/year;

- Support for medication, treatment, and health recovery at care facilities will increase from a maximum of VND 8,500,000/person/year to a maximum of VND 11,000,000/person/year…

The monthly allowances and preferential benefits for certain categories of people who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives are expected to be as follows:

The level of benefits for certain categories of people who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives, effective from January 1, 2027, is based on a proposal from the Ministry of Interior.
