
Authorities towed the distressed vessel ashore.
As previously reported, in the early morning of May 17th, due to thunderstorms and strong winds, several fishing boats anchored at the Lach Ghep estuary, Ngoc Son ward, Thanh Hoa province, had their anchor ropes broken and drifted freely. Two of these fishing boats sank.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Hai Hoa Border Guard Station promptly deployed its forces and urgently coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, functional forces, and fishermen to organize rescue operations.

Border Guard forces, in coordination with local authorities and fishermen, successfully salvaged the distressed vessel.
Thanks to the efforts of the rescue forces, by this morning, May 18th, both sunken fishing vessels had been successfully salvaged. The incident did not cause any casualties.

The Hai Hoa Border Guard Station is continuing to coordinate closely with the Ngoc Son Ward People's Committee to support and encourage boat owners to overcome the damage, quickly stabilize their lives, and return to fishing at sea.
