Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung offered incense to pay tribute and commemorate General Nguyen Quyet.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, on the morning of April 24th in Hanoi, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, along with a delegation from the General Political Department, paid their respects and commemorated General Nguyen Quyet, former Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Vice Chairman of the State Council, former Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, and former Deputy Minister of National Defense.

At the altar dedicated to General Nguyen Quyet in his private residence, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung and members of the delegation respectfully offered prayers and lit incense sticks to express their heartfelt respect and profound gratitude for the immense contributions of General Nguyen Quyet to the revolutionary cause, the struggle for national liberation, the building of the country, and the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

Before the sacred spirit of General Nguyen Quyet, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung and the members of the delegation pledged to always learn from and emulate the General's shining example in all aspects of their work and fields of activity; to constantly strive, work hard, train, and build a firm political character; and together with the leaders of the General Political Department, lead and direct the building of strong and comprehensive agencies and units that are "exemplary and outstanding," successfully completing all assigned tasks, especially in leading and directing Party and political work activities of the entire army, ensuring that the Army remains politically strong and meets the requirements of national construction and defense in the new situation.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung and family members of General Nguyen Quyet chatted and shared special stories and memories about the respected senior figure who dedicated his entire life to the revolution. This further affirmed the character, leadership, and strategic thinking of the General, who embodied all the noble qualities of intelligence, courage, humanity, trustworthiness, integrity, and loyalty.
