Vietnam College of Coal and Minerals successfully organized the 3rd Party Congress, term 2025

On April 25, in Ha Long City, the Party Committee of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries College (TKV) successfully held the 3rd Congress, term 2025-2030, with the motto of action: "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".

In the last term, despite facing many difficulties, especially the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters, the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries College has promoted its comprehensive leadership role, directing the political system to basically complete the main targets. Specifically, the average number of miner recruitment reached 4,575 students/year; the graduation rate exceeded 100%, all graduates were arranged jobs. Revenue increased by an average of 3%/year; 100% of workers had stable jobs, and the average income increased by 5% per year. Party building work has had many positive changes, with 145 new party members admitted; the Party organization has increasingly developed in both scale and quality.

The Congress discussed and approved the directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term, in which Party building continues to be identified as the top priority task. The Party Committee of Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries College aims to comprehensively innovate leadership methods, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Party organizations and the quality of Party members. Inspection, supervision, prevention and handling of negativity and corruption will be implemented drastically and synchronously. Party committees at all levels focus on setting examples, promoting the spirit of democracy, strengthening discipline, contributing to building a truly clean and steadfast Party Committee, capable of comprehensively leading all aspects of the School's activities in the new period.

Along with that, the Congress clearly identified the overarching goal of developing the Vietnam College of Coal and Minerals to become a leading vocationaltraining institution, approaching ASEAN standards. Key tasks include: maintaining training quality, promoting digital transformation, developing a flexible and circular training market, ensuring that over 95% of graduates have jobs, revenue increases by 10-20% each year and 100% of workers have stable income increases each year.

With the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and high determination, the Congress demonstrated the will of the entire Party Committee in inheriting and promoting the tradition of "Discipline and Unity", bringing the School to stable and sustainable development in the new period.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee for the 3rd term, consisting of 15 comrades, who are exemplary cadres in terms of political qualities and professional capacity, meeting the requirements of leading the School in the coming term.
