On the afternoon of January 1, 2025, at Bac Giang Provincial Political School, Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee in coordination with Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of Bac Giang Provincial Political School meeting level 1 standards.
Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; comrades of the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and representatives of the Board of Directors of Political Schools of some provinces.
Delegates from Bac Giang province include: Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Party Central Committee; Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Huong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Nguyen Viet Oanh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mai Son - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; representatives of the Standing Committees of District Party Committees, Town Party Committees and City Party Committees.
At the ceremony, Principal of the Provincial Political School Bui The Chung said that on May 19, 2021, the Central Party Secretariat issued Regulation No. 11-QD/TW on standard political schools. To specify this task, on February 28, 2022, the Standing Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee issued Project No. 11-DA/TU on building the Bac Giang Provincial Political School to meet level 1 standards, period 2022 - 2025. After more than 2 years of implementation with high determination, in December 2024, the Bac Giang Provincial Political School was recognized by the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics as meeting level 1 standards, finishing 1 year ahead of schedule.
By 2024, Bac Giang Provincial Political School has achieved 55/55 targets of 6/6 groups of criteria for level 1 political schools. Of which, 9 targets exceeded level 1 standards, including: The rate of full-time and part-time lecturers reached 78% (exceeding 3% compared to level 1 standards); 32/32 lecturers have a master's degree or higher, reaching 100% (exceeding 10% compared to level 1 standards); 100% of lecturers have certificates of training in Marxist-Leninist classics and Ho Chi Minh thought (exceeding 20%); 22/32 lecturers hold the rank of main lecturer and equivalent, reaching 68.7% (exceeding 8.7% compared to level 1 standards).
Scientific research activities and organizing seminars have achieved many positive results. From 2022 to present, the School has carried out 2 provincial-level scientific topics and advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue 2 projects (reaching 133%); organized 6 provincial-level scientific seminars (reaching 200%), 1 ministerial-level scientific seminar; carried out 28 grassroots-level scientific topics (reaching 186.6%); organized 19 school-level scientific seminars (reaching 126.6%). In addition, the School has fully implemented training and fostering programs according to regulations. The school's facilities have been newly invested in and built on an area of 4 hectares.
In 2023 and 2024, the School sent nearly 100 lecturers to attend meetings of the Standing Committees of the District Party Committee, City Party Committee, and City Party Committee, thereby helping lecturers supplement their knowledge and practical skills, improve the quality of lectures and scientific research.
With the close and regular leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; the active coordination, support, and assistance of departments, branches, and localities in the province; all cadres, lecturers, civil servants, and employees of the Bac Giang Provincial Political School will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, unity, proactiveness, creativity, determination, and responsibility, continue to improve the quality and efficiency of all aspects of work, the achieved standards, and improve the quality of training and fostering of cadres in the province.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan - Head of the Department of Political Schools, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics announced the Decision to recognize Bac Giang Provincial Political School as meeting level 1 standards. Bac Giang Provincial Political School is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of the criteria for Standard Political Schools according to regulations. This Decision takes effect from December 20, 2024.

On behalf of the Party leadership and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics commended and congratulated the outstanding results achieved by the Bac Giang Provincial Political School in the process of building the school to meet level 1 standards.
He suggested that Bac Giang province continue to direct the Provincial Political School to actively coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review the Project and have a roadmap for implementation so that the school can soon reach level 2 standards. The Provincial Party Standing Committee continues to pay attention to leading and directing the arrangement of staff and teaching staff of the school to be stable and have inheritance; develop inspection and supervision plans to ensure the criteria for standard school teachers; continue to direct departments, branches, sectors and localities to coordinate and remove obstacles and difficulties for the school.
He suggested that the Bac Giang Provincial Political School continue to promote the initiative and creativity of the school's collective; gather and promote the collective intelligence of the staff and the school's Party Committee; proactively advise the Provincial Party Committee to issue a Project to build a Provincial Political School to meet level 2 standards; advise on training, scientific research, mechanisms and policies. In training and fostering, strictly implement the guiding viewpoint that the Provincial Political School is the only training and fostering institution of the province. The school takes the lead in building and contributing ideas to the documents of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
He requested that each cadre and lecturer of the school promote the exemplary role of a Party member, innovate methods, improve the quality of training and teaching; promote the application of information technology; conduct scientific research; and do a good job of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
He believes that with the highest determination, greatest efforts, most drastic actions, along with the right focus, key points, and effective implementation solutions, the Party Committee, government, and people of Bac Giang province will promote the tradition of solidarity, joint efforts, and consensus, seize every opportunity and advantage, overcome all difficulties and challenges, and be determined to successfully implement the set goals and tasks. He also believes and expects that Bac Giang Provincial Political School will soon reach level 2 standards, among the top schools in the country.

He requested the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Political School to urgently develop programs and plans to concretize all the instructions of the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; ensure clear work, roadmap and results achieved and promptly report to the Provincial Party Committee and the Academy on the implementation of the instructions of the Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Focus on strongly innovating the content, programs, and methods of training and fostering cadres in the direction of linking theory with practice, linking theory with practice to effectively solve practical problems; actively apply information technology in management and teaching. Pay attention to promoting the initiative and creativity of learners, taking learners as the center of training and fostering activities. Promote scientific research, summarize practices in the direction of focusing on the applicability of research results; actively propose major strategic issues to serve the work of Party building, political system building and socio-economic development of the province.
A school that meets the standard of level 1 is an accumulation of quantity to create a change in quality. The school needs to continue to strive to raise the level of the Provincial Political School to become one of the prestigious centers for training, fostering, scientific research, and summarizing practices in the system of political schools nationwide.
