Ho Chi Minh City Open University announces floor score 2025

Ho Chi Minh City Open University announced the threshold for ensuring quality of entrance (floor score) for regular universities in 2025 on the afternoon of July 23.

Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Open University will set the floor score at 15 and 16 points for the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, a reduction of 3-4 points depending on the major compared to the floor score in 2024.

This threshold score is determined: total score of 3 subjects without coefficient and without adding bonus points, priority points (if any).

The threshold score for admission (based on high school graduation exam scores) for the first round of regular university admission in 2025 is as follows:

For the computer-based university entrance exam (V-SAT) scores, the Ho Chi Minh City National University aptitude test scores, and high school academic results (HB transcript scores: only used for admission to joint programs) will be converted according to the school's equivalent score conversion rules for admission to regular universities.
