According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long - Principal of Danang University of Foreign Languages, books are a priceless treasure of human knowledge, an indispensable companion on the path of learning, discovery and growth.
Especially in the university environment, reading is not only a habit but also the foundation for forming critical thinking, nurturing self-study ability and opening up new horizons of knowledge.
“Reading helps learners broaden their horizons, gain deeper understanding of their profession, and develop their personality and professional skills. That is also the key for each student to continuously develop comprehensively in the context of lifelong learning and global integration.
I believe that Book Week 2025 will leave beautiful marks, continuing to ignite and nurture the flame of knowledge in each of us" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long emphasized.
The annual Book Week at Danang University of Foreign Languages, in addition to honoring the value of books, is also a space to connect the academic community in the spirit of sharing, learning and creativity. This is an opportunity for each staff, lecturer and student to look back at the essential role of reading culture in teaching, learning, research, etc.
