Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 now has an additional secondary and high school.

Vinh Phuc province has issued a decision to establish three public high schools, one of which belongs to Hanoi Pedagogical University 2.

On March 10th, the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Phuc province announced that the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province had issued decisions to establish three schools: the Secondary and High School of Pedagogy under Hanoi Pedagogical University 2; Nguyen Van Chat High School under the Vinh Phuc Department of Education and Training; and the Vinh Phuc Provincial Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School under the Vinh Phuc Department of Education and Training.

The decisions take effect from March 7th.

Specifically, the Secondary and High School of Pedagogy under Hanoi University of Education 2 is a public educational and practical pedagogical training institution within the national education system, with its own seal and bank account as prescribed by law; its headquarters are located in Xuan Hoa Ward, Phuc Yen City.

The school is under the direct and comprehensive guidance and management of Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 regarding organization, staff, assets, and finances; and is under the professional guidance and management of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Phuc province.

Nguyen Van Chat High School is a public general education institution within the general education system, possessing legal personality, its own seal and bank account; its headquarters are located in Tho Tang town, Vinh Tuong district.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh Phuc province to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to implement the establishment of the school according to the decision; ensuring the necessary conditions regarding facilities and teaching equipment to organize student enrollment, admission, and educational activities from the 2025-2026 school year.

The Vinh Phuc Provincial Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School was established on the basis of reorganizing the Tam Dao Ethnic Boarding Secondary School; it is a public general education institution within the general education system, with legal personality, its own seal and bank account. The school is located in Nuc Ha village, Ho Son commune, Tam Dao district.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Vinh Phuc Department of Education and Training to implement the establishment of the school, organize the transfer of the Tam Dao Ethnic Boarding Junior High School from the Tam Dao District People's Committee, and manage it according to regulations.

Thus, Vinh Phuc province currently has 38 high schools, including 33 public high schools, 2 public combined junior and senior high schools, and 3 private schools (including 1 high school, 1 combined primary, junior and senior high school; and 1 combined junior and senior high school).
