Today, February 20, the Ministry of Education and Training issued two decisions allowing Hanoi National University of Education to train two university-level pedagogical majors: history-geography pedagogy and natural science pedagogy.
History and geography pedagogy has code 7140249 and natural sciences has code 7140247.
Decisions of the Ministry of Education and Training allow Hanoi National University of Education to train history - geography teachers and natural science teachers.
According to the decisions of the Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi National University of Education will determine enrollment targets, enroll students, organize and manage training, and grant degrees according to current regulations; evaluate the quality and accredit training programs according to regulations.
Thus, after adding 2 new majors, Hanoi National University of Education is allowed to train 29 pedagogical majors and 16 non-pedagogical majors.
This year, Hanoi National University of Education uses 5 admission methods: admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; direct admission; consideration of high school transcripts; entrance exams (aptitude test, capacity assessment test); combination of entrance exams and admission.
For teacher training majors, the Ministry of Education and Training will prescribe the quality assurance threshold. For other training majors (other than teacher training), the school will make specific announcements after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the input quality assurance threshold for teacher training majors (pedagogy).
For the education sector, the school does not recruit candidates with deformities, disabilities, speech impediments, or stuttering. Candidates applying for the national defense and securityeducation sector must be in good health, with refractive errors of nearsightedness or farsightedness not exceeding 3dp; no congenital defects, or offensive tattoos. Men must be 1.60m or taller; women must be 1.55m or taller.
Candidates who are admitted to the majors of computer science and biology after enrolling can register for the school to consider admission to study computer science in English and biology in English, respectively, if they wish.
Students studying non-pedagogical and educational management majors must pay tuition fees according to school regulations. Students studying teacher training majors are supported with tuition fees and living expenses (if they register and commit to serving in the education sector). If students do not register for support, they will pay tuition fees according to school regulations.
