The diverse and comprehensive forms of information reflected the key events of the visit, emphasizing the symbolic nature of high-level diplomatic ceremonies and the friendly atmosphere between the two countries.
According to the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Beijing, Chinese media have emphasized that this is the first overseas trip of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping this year and the first visit to a neighboring country after the Central Committee's Plenum on Neighborly Affairs. This has attracted great attention from the international community.
This visit is an important political and diplomatic activity with strategic significance between the two Parties and two countries, and will have a profound impact on the development of Vietnam-China relations.
Simultaneously, during the visit, the leaders of the two countries had in-depth exchanges on common issues, strategies, and orientations of relations between the two Parties and countries; and outlined new plans for building a China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
This visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam.

As two neighboring socialist countries sharing a common border, China and Vietnam are at a new starting point for the development of bilateral relations. In recent years, bilateral relations have made continuous progress, based not only on strategic cooperation with shared ideals, beliefs, and common development needs, but also on the practical needs of both countries to proactively seek complementary advantages and share resources in the economic, infrastructure, and industrial chain sectors.
Speaking at a meeting with Vietnamese General Secretary To Lam, Chinese General Secretary and President Xi Jinping expressed his pleasure at making a state visit to Vietnam. On behalf of the Chinese Communist Party, Government, and people, he warmly congratulated Vietnam on the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the nation, and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification. He affirmed that China adheres to a policy of friendship with Vietnam, always considering Vietnam a priority in its neighborly diplomacy, and always supports Vietnam's prosperous development and the happiness of its people.
According to Xinhua News Agency, after the talks, the two General Secretaries jointly reviewed and listened to presentations on 45 cooperation agreements in various fields signed between ministries, departments, and localities of the two countries, showcasing the rich and comprehensive achievements attained during this visit.
Meanwhile, speaking at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Chinese President and General Secretary Xi Jinping congratulated Vietnam on its significant achievements in socio-economic development, especially its high and stable economic growth.

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping wished Vietnam success in organizing the 14th National Congress, ushering Vietnam into an era of strong, civilized, and prosperous development.
He affirmed that China is ready to expand imports of Vietnamese agricultural products and support Chinese enterprises in increasing high-quality investment in Vietnam; suggested that both sides organize activities well within the framework of the Vietnam-China People's Cultural Exchange Year; implement the Red Journey tourism routes; strengthen cooperation in education and health to bring practical benefits to the people of both countries; proposed that ministries and agencies of both sides proactively and actively implement cooperation projects; adequately manage disagreements according to the common understanding of high-level leaders; promote cooperation at sea; and jointly maintain peace and stability in the region and the world.
During his meeting with the Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly, Tran Thanh Man, the General Secretary and President of China, Xi Jinping, expressed his pleasure at witnessing firsthand the great achievements that the Party, State, and people of fraternal Vietnam have made in nearly 40 years of Doi Moi (Renovation) and felt the solid foundation in the friendly relations between the two Parties and two countries.

He argued that both countries are entering a crucial stage in their respective strategic development, and that coordinating efforts to deepen the strategically significant China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future will add positive energy and stability to global development.
General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping agreed that both sides need to strengthen exchanges through Party, National People's Congress/National People's Congress, and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference/National Front channels, share legislative experiences, and jointly build a solid legal framework for major cooperation projects. He expressed his hope that specialized agencies of the National People's Congress and National People's Congress would strengthen exchanges on experiences in building a socialist rule of law state and developing people's democracy throughout the process; promote thematic exchanges on law; jointly inherit and promote the tradition of cooperation between the two Parties and the close ties between the two peoples; strengthen multilateral cooperation; and effectively manage disagreements at sea, thereby continuously consolidating, preserving, and promoting friendly neighborly relations and enriching the content of the strategically significant China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future.
