Chinese mainstream media such as Xinhua News Agency, People's Daily, China Central Television (CCTV), Global Times... have simultaneously reported prominently on the State visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.

The diverse and rich types of information reflect the overall key events of the visit, emphasizing the symbolic nature of high-level diplomatic protocol and the friendly atmosphere between the two countries.

According to VNA correspondents in Beijing, Chinese media have emphasized that this is General Secretary and President Xi Jinping's first overseas trip this year and his first visit to a neighboring country after the Central Conference on Neighboring Affairs. This has attracted great attention from the international community.

This visit is an important political and diplomatic activity of strategic significance between the two Parties and two countries and will have a profound impact on the development of Vietnam-China relations.

At the same time, through the visit, the leaders of the two countries had in-depth exchanges on common issues, strategies and orientations for relations between the two Parties and the two countries; and outlined a new plan for building a China-Vietnam community of shared future.

This visit takes place on the occasion of China and Vietnam celebrating 75 years of establishing diplomatic relations.

As two socialist neighbors connected by mountains and rivers, China and Vietnam are standing at a new starting point for the development of bilateral relations. In recent years, bilateral relations have made continuous progress, not only based on strategic cooperation sharing common ideals, confidence and development needs, but also based on the practical needs of both sides in proactively seeking complementary advantages and sharing resources in the fields of economy, infrastructure and industrial chain.

Speaking at the talks with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping expressed his joy at the State visit to Vietnam. On behalf of the Party, Government and people of China, he warmly congratulated Vietnam on the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification. He affirmed that China persistently pursues a policy of friendship with Vietnam, always considers Vietnam a priority direction in its neighborly foreign policy, and always supports Vietnam's prosperous development and people's happiness.

According to Xinhua News Agency, after the talks, the two General Secretaries reviewed and listened to an introduction of 45 cooperation agreements in many fields signed between ministries, sectors and localities of the two countries, demonstrating the rich and comprehensive achievements that both sides achieved during this visit.

Meanwhile, speaking at the meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping congratulated Vietnam on its important achievements in socio-economic development, especially its high and stable economic growth.

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping wished Vietnam a successful organization of the 14th National Congress, bringing Vietnam into an era of rich, strong, civilized, and prosperous development.

He affirmed that China is willing to expand the import of Vietnamese agricultural products, support Chinese enterprises to increase high-quality investment in Vietnam; propose that both sides well organize activities within the framework of the Vietnam-China Year of Humanitarian Exchange; deploy Red Journey tourism routes, strengthen cooperation in the fields of education and health to bring practical benefits to the people of the two countries; propose that ministries and branches of both sides proactively and actively implement cooperation projects; properly control disagreements according to the common perception of high-ranking leaders, promote cooperation at sea, and jointly maintain peace and stability in the region and the world.

During the meeting with Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping expressed his joy at witnessing the great achievements that the Party, State and people of Vietnam have achieved in nearly 40 years of Doi Moi and felt the solid foundation in the friendly relations between the two Parties and two countries.

He said that both countries are entering a key stage in their strategic development, and need to coordinate to deepen the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future, which has strategic significance, adding positive and stable energy to the world's development.

General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping agreed that the two sides need to strengthen exchanges through the Party, the National People's Congress, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the Fatherland Front, share legislative experiences, and jointly build a solid legal corridor for major cooperation projects; hope that specialized agencies under the National People's Congress and the National People's Congress will increase exchanges on experiences in building a socialist rule-of-law state and developing people's democracy throughout the process; promote exchanges on legal topics; jointly inherit and promote the tradition of cooperation between the two Parties and the close ties between the two peoples; strengthen multilateral cooperation; well control disagreements at sea, thereby continuously consolidating, preserving and promoting friendly neighborly relations, and enriching the strategic significance of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future./.
