Synopsis of My Dearest Nemesis Episode 2

Episode 2 opens with Ju-yeon changing clothes in his office. He's annoyed to realize Su-jeong is the "killer director" and the victim in the hit-and-run accident. When she suddenly bursts in, he prevents her from screaming in shock. The atmosphere becomes awkward as Ju-yeon insists she forget everything and kicks her out. He gives her a "warning" and decides to keep an eye on her.
Ju-yeon has a sweet tooth, but to maintain his image, he goes to the square to buy a chocolate latte. Su-jeong appears and tries to buy him one, but he quickly runs away. Later, he bumps into a boy who is fighting over a limited-edition toy. Once again, Su-jeong accidentally encounters him, and Ju-yeon reluctantly gives the toy to the boy.
Ju-yeon decided to get rid of Su-jeong because she knew too many of his secrets. However, Chief Kwon reminded him that he couldn't fire her, so Ju-yeon decided to make her life miserable until she quit on her own. In the next meeting, he constantly attacked Su-jeong, but she easily dealt with him. Her colleagues scolded her for not knowing how to "bow down" and called her a "dog" for working too hard. Su-jeong resolutely refused to give in, but she grew tired of the taunts from Ju-yeon and her colleagues.
Ju-yeon asks Shin-won to approach Su-jeong's group to find incriminating information about her. However, Shin-won is dating a possessive girl who doesn't like him even smiling at other people. While looking for a new restaurant, Shin-won stumbles upon Ultimate Pro's restaurant on Instagram and finds her captions very interesting.
Ju-yeon showed up at the group party and participated in a drinking contest with Su-jeong. Kwon thought they were fine, and everyone left with her. Su-jeong thought Ju-yeon hated her for working too hard, but in reality, he admired her work ethic, even though he considered her a "time bomb." Ju-yeon got drunk and asked for chocolate milk. Su-jeong happily bought him one and took him home by taxi.
The next day, Ju-yeon was embarrassed after losing to Su-jeong. His grandmother checked on him and warned him not to disappoint her. A flashback revealed that the only time he had disappointed her, she had burned something of his. Kwon reassured Ju-yeon that he would soon win her approval.
At the company, rumors circulate that Su-jeong defeated Ju-yeon. He's furious about his public image being ruined and takes his anger out on her. This is Su-jeong's limit, and they have a major argument. Ju-yeon threatens to fire her, but Kwon warns him to stop or he'll be reported. Meanwhile, colleague Yang reveals rumors that Ju-yeon is the company's heir.
Ju-yeon checks on Shin-won's progress, but he only knows that Su-jeong is very hardworking. Similarly, Su-jeong decides to find some dirty information so Ju-yeon can't fire her. She follows him after work and discovers he goes to the Rock Man Studio club. She's surprised to see him happy and more "human." However, she takes a picture and sends it to him. Ju-yeon immediately shows up at her house, panicked and sweating.
Su-jeong's father thinks they're dating, but Ju-yeon offers her a contract: he'll guarantee her a job if she deletes the photos and follows all his instructions. Su-jeong happily signs, but wonders why he hates her name when she signs. She doesn't care and boasts about her safety at the office. However, her joy is short-lived as Ju-yeon constantly calls her and insists she accompany him all the time.
Things escalated to the point where Ju-yeon took Su-jeong shopping. She was surprised by the final outfit he chose and decided to wear it for tonight's event. He also rented a dress for her and kept reminding her that he didn't trust her.
Meanwhile, Shin-won arrives at Ultimate Pro's restaurant and narrowly avoids being hit by a cyclist. Ultimate Pro saves him, and Shin-won is surprised by her strength. His girlfriend witnesses this, and their date becomes tense. She decides to break up with him, believing Shin-won is too friendly with others. Ultimate Pro calmly replies, "Only deceivers are deceivers."
Returning to the main couple, Ju-yeon and Su-jeong attend a party for chaebol families. Ju-yeon discovers a group of bullies mocking him for being too strict and having a cruel grandmother. They wonder if he has a girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Su-jeong goes looking for food and is mistaken for a prostitute by a chaebol (wealthy businessman). He gets angry when she refuses and tries to slap her, but Ju-yeon appears just in time, pushes him into the pool, and grabs Su-jeong's hand. At the end of episode 2, Ju-yeon calls her "babe," making things unexpected and promising.
Review of My Dearest Nemesis Episode 2

Episode 2 continues to depict the "mortal enemies" relationship between the main couple, Su-jeong and Ju-yeon. However, the drama constantly surprises viewers with its rapid development and continuous shifts from one situation to another. Clearly, both have begun to soften towards each other, and soon they will realize that they genuinely like each other.
The humor and graphics remain strong, although viewers might slightly miss the video game-style storytelling from the previous episode. Ju-yeon is the "fake tsundere" type – outwardly cold but easily broken when alone. Meanwhile, Su-jeong is strong and decisive, but that's because life hasn't been easy for her.
Im Se-mi's character, Ultimate Pro, retains a style similar to her role in True Beauty, but could her comment about "the deceiver" hint at a tragic past? Shin-won, while not yet making a strong impression, certainly has the potential to shine in the upcoming episodes with his friendly and approachable personality.
Episode 2 of My Dearest Nemesis not only delivers humorous situations but also sows the seeds for the development of feelings between the two main characters, promising exciting surprises and emotions in the journey ahead!
