Takashi Mochibe, a Japanese developer, has created waves on social media by inviting users to leave hearts to have their names added to the credits of a new game. The game called Dragon's Chronicles: The Dark Demon King and the Sword of the North Star has not yet been released but has already attracted millions of attention.
This simple yet humorous appeal went viral on the X platform with over 18.2 million views and 226,000 likes. Mochibe even announced that he would add 100 fictional Vietnamese gamer names if no one responded, which delighted the Vietnamese community.
He has now added over 6,000 names to the ending and is testing a new way of displaying the credits because… it's too long to show them all. This idea makes the unknown game able to set a Guinness record for the longest thank you section in gaming history. The current record belongs to Mighty No. 9 with nearly 68,000 names and a nearly 4-hour long credits sequence.
The clever "heart-catching" trick has helped Mochibe attract global attention without any marketing costs. Readers are invited to watch more videos : Iris scanning tool to verify human identity | VTV24
