Following the success of the first edition in Bangkok (Thailand), this time, the “Taste of Peru” Food Week will introduce the richness and diversity of Peruvian cuisine through the talents of four famous Peruvian chefs who are currently operating and working at famous restaurants across Asia: chef Abel Ortiz Alvarez (Hong Kong-China), chef Franco Aldana (Malaysia), chef R. Rodrigo Serrano (Philippines) and chef Pier Lopez Mendizabal (Vietnam).

At this Food Week, diners will also have the opportunity to enjoy many traditional Peruvian dishes such as ceviche, pollo a la brasa (Peruvian-style grilled chicken), anticuchos (grilled meat skewers), causa Limeña (Lima-style stuffed potato pancakes), papa a la huancaína (potatoes with huancaína sauce), lomo saltado (Peruvian-style stir-fried beef), ají de gallina (chicken with yellow pepper sauce), arroz criollo (criollo-style rice), solterito salad (solterito salad), picarones (Peruvian molasses doughnuts), suspiro a la Limeña (Peruvian-style custard), alfajores (caramelized cookies), pisco sours (pisco cocktail), chicha morada (purple corn drink), maca latte (maca milk coffee), etc.

The gastronomic week is also a unique opportunity to promote Peru’s world- famous cuisine, which was further confirmed when Peruvian restaurant Maido was officially named the World’s Best Restaurant 2025 in a list of 50 restaurants.
