Who is the musician for Tao Quan 2025 ?

According to director Bui Nhu Lai, the person in charge of music for Tao Quan 2025 is musician Hoang Anh Minh.

Musician Hoang Anh Minh shared with PV Dan Viet that during the days of practicing for Tao Quan 2025 , he and his wife sometimes did not see each other. This was quite a stressful challenge for musician Hoang Anh Minh because the script kept changing, so the musician had to closely follow the actors' practice of Tao Quan . Whenever the actors practiced, the male musician had to be present. The recording studio was also located right next to the practice room to keep up with the production schedule.

In the program Meet at the end of the year - Tao Quan, the parody songs performed by Tao, Thien Loi, even Ngoc Hoang... are always one of the indispensable highlights for the audience. Therefore, the production team often chooses "hit" songs of the past year or famous songs with familiar melodies to "parody" humorous lyrics, thereby reflecting on a prominent issue of the past year.

The content of these songs is diverse, revolving around many fields such as: economics , education, transportation, health, sports, electricity, water... The familiar, catchy melodies combined with humorous, satirical lyrics make Tao Quan 's parody songs always loved and welcomed by the audience. In fact, many of the songs are "hot" and have their own lives after the program ends.

Before the show aired, fans predicted that some "hot" songs in 2024 and the recent past could appear in Tao Quan 2025 such as: Tai sinh (composed by: Tang Duy Tan, performed by: Tung Duong); APT ( Rosé & Bruno Mars); Di gi troi ruc ro ( Ngo Lan Huong) ; Khong ra gi ( Truc Nhan ); Thuy trieu (Quang Hung MasterD); Sau loi tu xu (Phan Manh Quynh); Ngao ngo (singer group); Tung la (Vu Cat Tuong); Don't keep what you have, don't look for it when it's gone (composed by: Bui Cong Nam, performed by: Truc Nhan)...

Besides the "hot" songs, traditional melodies such as Bac Ninh folk songs, Cheo, Cai Luong, Chau Van... are always delicately performed by the artists in the program.

Musician Hoang Anh Minh is known as the Music Director for major VTV programs and is the person behind the music products of artists such as: Den Vau, Hoang Dung, Thuy Chi, Hoang Quyen, PiaLinh... At the 1st International Jazz Festival in Nha Trang taking place in Nha Trang in 2024, musician Hoang Anh Minh took on the role of Music Director of this Festival.

Right from the first time coming to the Vietnamese Song contest in 2007 , musician Hoang Anh Minh made his mark with the song Story - a beautiful love story that seemed to come out of a musical painting. The song Story of You has contributed to helping singer Thuy Chi "cause a storm" on social networks...

Musician Hoang Anh Minh was born into a family where his grandparents and parents were all artists. His father died early, and he began studying music professionally at the age of 5.

When Hoang Anh Minh was in high school, in addition to studying culture and music, his mother let him decide what was right for him. He decided to postpone his music studies and spend time to fulfill his own dreams - to become a computer engineer. He took the entrance exam to the Polytechnic University but failed.

After that, Hoang Anh Minh returned to study professional music, continued to take the university entrance exam for Composition and studied Jazz Performance - a subject he loved. He was a graduate of the first courses of the Jazz Department at the National Academy of Music, taught directly by Professor Luu Quang Minh.

Those early experiences gave him the experiences and lessons to realize who he was and what he wanted. Hoang Anh Minh practiced writing his first songs to tell his stories through music. He and music became friends again like that. After many experiences and trips, musician Hoang Anh Minh returned to become a lecturer and a musician.

Tao Quan 2025 will air on VTV at 8:00 p.m. on January 28 (29th day of Lunar New Year).
