Through practical movements and actions with wide-reaching influence, the Youth Union of Trac Van commune has created many impressions, adding more color to the green shirt of the youth in the community and society. In 2023, the Commune Youth Union thoroughly grasped and studied the 2023 theme to all cadres and Youth Union members "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style on mass style, democracy, and setting an example"; organized for Youth Union members to participate in studying the theme of the City Party Committee "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in building a new lifestyle, building civilized urban Duy Tien people, implementing the Code of Conduct in the town"; "Studying and following the spirit of lifelong learning of President Ho Chi Minh". Registering models of following Uncle Ho in conjunction with implementing the work of the Youth Union and political tasks in the locality. The Youth Union of Trac Van commune has built two models: “Reading space for youth, children and the community” and “Youth trees following Uncle Ho’s teachings”, which have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee, government and people. Along with that, promoting propaganda and education for the younger generation about patriotism, awareness of law compliance, raising awareness and staying away from social evils, building a healthy lifestyle… through many forms.
Secretary of the Trac Van Commune Youth Union Trinh Phuong Nam said: To concretize the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2023 of the Town Party Committee, the Commune Youth Union has built the "Flag Road - Youth Billboard" project in Lat Ha village, including 120 Party flags, national flags, Youth Union flags and 40 propaganda billboards about the Code of Conduct in the town. This is a clever model of mass mobilization in building advanced new rural areas, contributing to creating landscapes in the commune. In addition, it supports a "Playground for youth and children" in Van But village, worth 15 million VND. Activities to participate in environmental protection and ensure traffic safety in the commune are regularly and effectively carried out by the Youth Union. Effectively maintaining the models of “Youth Garden”, “Youth Tree Row”, “Tree Road Following Uncle Ho”, “Safely Picking Up Children”… Not only bringing practical benefits to the community, studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and style in recent times has contributed to affirming the important role of the young generation in all areas of social life.
Learning from Uncle Ho's spirit of volunteerism, sharing and love, the Commune Youth Union coordinated to present 120 gifts to poor households, those in especially difficult circumstances, and former youth volunteers on the occasion of Lunar New Year, with a total value of 53 million VND; coordinated to provide free consultation and dental check-ups for 250 cases. Mobilized the Youth Union to donate 23 units of blood; contributed over 120 working days to beautify the martyrs' cemetery and organized incense offering and candle lighting ceremonies to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs. Cared for and educated children, especially those in difficult circumstances.
Dynamic, creative, and sensitive to science and technology, Trac Van youth are also the core force, pioneers in the digital transformation process in the locality. The commune Youth Union regularly innovates the content and methods of implementing union, association, and team activities on digital platforms; enhances the application of information technology in organizing competitions and working programs of the Youth Union. During the year, the commune Youth Union launched the Zalo OA channel "Tuoi Tre Trac Van"; established a volunteer team to support people in installing and activating more than 3,800 level 2 electronic identification accounts, contributing to Trac Van achieving the target in the peak campaign of activating electronic identification accounts. In addition, a Youth Volunteer team with 15 Youth Union members participated in collecting and notifying more than 1,780 digital addresses; guiding Youth Union members to install the app and make electronic payments through the Social Policy Bank app.
Secretary of the Trac Van Commune Youth Union Trinh Phuong Nam affirmed: Not only focusing on education, effectively implementing volunteer activities to participate in building advanced new rural areas, ensuring social security, the Commune Youth Union also actively propagates and accompanies young people in starting a business and establishing a career. During the year, the Standing Committee of the Commune Youth Union coordinated with the Commune Poverty Reduction Committee and the Transaction Office of the Duy Tien Town Social Policy Bank to support 5 economic development models for young people with a total loan of 500 million VND. Along with family economic development, economic development models led by young people also created jobs for more than 50 local workers. The work of fostering and developing the Party for young people continued to be focused on. During the year, the Commune Youth Union introduced 55 outstanding members to the Party, of which 15 members attended the Party awareness class and 4 members were honored to be admitted to the Party.
From practical movements and activities suitable to actual conditions, Trac Van Commune Youth Union has gradually built a positive training environment for young union members, creating opportunities for the young generation to be ready to contribute, contributing to the implementation of the task of socio-economic development of the locality, building an increasingly clean and strong union organization.
