Dong Nai Social Insurance Party Committee achieved and exceeded many assigned targets.

(DN)- On June 27, the Social Insurance Party Committee of Dong Nai province held its 9th Congress for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 176 party members from 9 affiliated party cells. The Congress carried out two contents: Assessing the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Dong Nai Social Insurance Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and determining the goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and documents of the Congress of Party Delegates of the provincial Party agencies.

Accordingly, during the past term, the entire Provincial Social Insurance Party Committee overcame difficulties and challenges, promoted the strength of solidarity, and made efforts to comprehensively complete all aspects of professional work; the main and key targets and tasks were all exceeded and increased compared to the previous term.

Notable among them is the work of collecting and developing participants in social insurance, health insurance (HI), and unemployment insurance (UI), which has been increasing continuously every year, exceeding the target assigned by the Vietnam Social Security. As of May 31, 2025, the total revenue of all types of insurance reached more than 130.9 trillion VND, an increase of 58% compared to the previous term. The number of participants in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is more than 3.1 million people; the HI coverage rate reaches 94% of the population.

The settlement and payment of insurance policies and regimes are always timely. During the last term, more than 12 million people were paid a total amount of more than 61.8 trillion VND, an increase of 107% compared to the previous period...

The Congress discussed and agreed on targets and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. By 2030, it is expected that 61% of the working-age population will participate in social insurance, 56% of the working-age population will participate in unemployment insurance, 100% of cadres and party members will register to set an example, commit to training and self-cultivation in conjunction with the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle...

Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tu praised the efforts and results that the Dong Nai Provincial Social Insurance Party Committee has achieved. At the same time, he requested that in the coming time, the Social Insurance Party Committee of Region XXVIII continue to successfully carry out the assigned political tasks. In particular, it is necessary to well carry out the work of reviewing and arranging the organizational structure of the Social Insurance of Region XXVIII and the Party Committee's activities to ensure efficiency, smoothness and uninterruptedness; build a team of cadres with good qualities and capacities, meeting the requirements of the tasks, contributing to building an increasingly strong Party Committee.
