Dak Lak first consultation to run for the 16th National Assembly...

On December 8, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province held the first consultation conference to agree on the structure, composition and number of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Attending the conference were comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairwoman of the Provincial Election Committee of Dak Lak; comrade Y Giang Ry Nie Knong , Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations of the province.

At the conference, comrade Tu Thai Giang, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, presented the expected structure, composition and allocation of the number of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and the election of People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

Accordingly, the number of delegates allocated by the National Assembly Standing Committee for Dak Lak province is 15 delegates, of which 9 delegates reside and work in Dak Lak and 6 delegates are introduced by the Central Government; the total number of people expected to be introduced as candidates for both the Central Government and the province is 28 people and the number of delegates to the Provincial People's Council for the 2026-2031 term is 84 delegates; the number of people introduced as candidates for the first time is 148 delegates, the number of officially introduced candidates is 141 delegates.
