Tu Liem Ward completes 12 socio-economic targets in 2025

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Party Secretary and Chairman of Tu Liem Ward People's Council Nguyen Quang Hieu said that in 2025, the socio -economic situation of the ward has achieved many positive and important results in many fields, expected to complete 12/13 socio-economic targets assigned by the Ward People's Council. The balance of revenue and expenditure of the budget is ensured; State budget revenue from a number of taxes in the area has achieved positive results.

The work of organizing the political system of the ward has been urgently deployed, ensuring progress as required; the apparatus has been put into smooth operation since July 1, 2025. The social security situation, political security, and social order and safety of the locality have been maintained stably.

During nearly 6 months of operation, the Ward People's Council has always made efforts to improve the efficiency of its operations. The People's Council has organized 3 meetings to promptly consider and decide on urgent and important issues of the ward. The activities of the Ward People's Council have been carried out in the direction of innovating its working methods, promoting more clearly its role and position in the political system.

Promoting that spirit, the 4th Session, which is of utmost importance, focuses on discussing, analyzing, and evaluating to clarify the situation and the results achieved, frankly pointing out the limitations and difficulties in implementing the tasks of 2025, proposing solutions and tasks, and striving to achieve the highest targets and tasks of 2026.

The Standing Committee of the People's Council and the Committees of the Ward People's Council always closely follow the core tasks of the Party Committee and the Resolution of the People's Council; at the same time, proactively develop programs, plans and organize quality implementation, ensuring compliance with the law. The activities of the People's Council are increasingly democratic, substantive, qualitative and effective, with many innovations in thinking and most clearly in innovation, improving the quality of the People's Council meetings to ensure excitement, substance, promoting the intelligence of the delegates in deciding important local issues; promulgating mechanisms and policies to promote socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and social security.

According to the provisions of the Law, based on the situation and practical requirements of the ward; after agreeing on the content with the People's Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, at this session, the People's Council of the ward will assess the implementation of socio-economic tasks in 2025 and key directions and tasks in 2026.

In addition, based on the provisions of the law, the Ward People's Council reviewed and discussed more than 10 reports and reviewed and approved 7 resolutions; including many very important contents such as: Socio-economic development tasks, national defense and security in 2026; Ward budget estimate and budget allocation plan in 2026; Ward public investment plan in 2026...

At the same time, further improve the work of planning management, land management, construction order, urban management, site clearance; strengthen resource management, environmental protection, natural disaster prevention and control, and climate change response.
