The "Uncle Ho Visits His Hometown" monument at Lang Sen Stadium is an important artistic and cultural work located in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province. The statue, cast in bronze, depicts President Ho Chi Minh during his visit to his hometown in 1961.

This structure is not only a symbol of gratitude from the People's Public Security Force and the people of the whole country to President Ho Chi Minh , but also a highlight in the Lotus Village and the Kim Lien Special National Historical Site.

Location of creation: Kim Lien Historical Site - Nam Dan - Nghe An , Kim Lien Commune, Nghe An, Vietnam. The photo series, submitted to the Organizing Committee of the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award , features images of the banyan tree and Lang Sen Stadium – the place where President Ho Chi Minh had intimate conversations with the local people during his two visits to his hometown (June 16, 1957 and December 9, 1961).

We invite readers and photographers from Vietnam and abroad to continue submitting their photos and videos to participate in the "Happy Vietnam 2025" Award . The award is organized by... The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Television, organized this event . The aim was to continue introducing and promoting the image of Vietnam, its people, cultural values, and natural beauty throughout the country; to awaken national pride and self-respect, and to inspire a desire for development among all segments of the Vietnamese population, so that they can work together to build a more prosperous, thriving, and happy Vietnam.

Submission deadline: From May 22, 2025 to September 30, 2025. Entries can be submitted online at : https://happy.vietnam.vn  

Eligible participants: Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and above.

The awards consist of two categories: photos and videos .

Each competition category (photos and videos) will have one First Prize worth VND 50,000,000, two Second Prizes worth VND 30,000,000, three Third Prizes worth VND 15,000,000, ten Consolation Prizes worth VND 5,000,000, and one Most Voted Award worth VND 5,000,000.

The organizers encourage and will award a creative prize of VND 20,000,000 in each category (photos and videos) to works with new and creative ideas in terms of content and presentation.

In addition, the organizing committee will award monthly prizes, including first, second, and third prizes, to the works with the highest number of votes in each category each month.

The judging panel selected the winners through two rounds of preliminary and final judging, conducted both online and in person.
