France delivers bad news for Mbappe, Real Madrid in a bad mood.

Coach Didier Deschamps confirmed that Kylian Mbappe suffered an ankle injury in France's 3-0 victory over Azerbaijan, leaving Real Madrid in a difficult position.

In the match against Azerbaijan in Group D of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Mbappe shone, breaking the deadlock for his team at the end of the first half, when France was struggling.

Bad news from Deschamps about Mbappe has left Real Madrid worried and annoyed. They had wanted to keep Mbappe to avoid any risks, after he showed signs of injury in Real Madrid's 3-1 win against Villarreal.

However, the French national team captain refused to give up, still calling up Mbappe and using him for over 80 minutes before the number 9 captain requested a substitution.

Apart from the disastrous 2-5 defeat to Atletico, Real Madrid has thrived under Mbappe since the start of the season, thanks to his incredible goal-scoring record. With El Clásico against Barca fast approaching, Real Madrid needs the best Mbappe to help them win a battle that's more than just about three points.
