Tuyen Quang completes personnel work after merger

Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee attended the meeting.

Speaking at the opening of the session, comrade Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, emphasized that the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province was formed on the basis of merging the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province and the People's Council of Ha Giang province.

The first session of the 19th term was the first session of the Provincial People's Council after the merger, held on the day the whole country implemented the operation of two-level local government.

Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Council delivered the opening speech at the meeting.

The contents passed at the meeting are the foundation and very important legal basis to create trust and expectations of voters in the new development stage of the country and the new province after the merger.

He asked the delegates to continue to promote a high sense of responsibility, be close to the people, respect the people, be open-minded, listen to the people's opinions; maximize their capacity, courage, intelligence, determination to innovate, be creative, stay close to reality, bring "the breath of life" into the parliament, issue correct, timely, and popular decisions, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that this is a meeting of special historical significance, marking the beginning of a new development period after the two provinces of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang merged into a unified administrative unit. In the new context, Tuyen Quang province has more space for development, more space and resources, but at the same time, it also faces a larger workload, a higher level of decentralization and authorization, and the need to serve the people better and more practically.

Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, gave a speech directing the meeting.

He suggested that, in order to promptly and effectively implement the goals and tasks, the People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, all levels and sectors should urgently complete the organizational structure, clearly assign tasks, ensure connectivity, synchronization and suitability with the 2-level government model; continue to strongly promote the supervisory role, especially in organizing the implementation of resolutions passed at the session, paying special attention to supervising the arrangement of administrative units; closely monitor the progress of perfecting the apparatus, stabilizing people's lives after the arrangement; continue to affirm the role of the Provincial People's Council in the current strong decentralization conditions in terms of self-determination and self-responsibility.

At the meeting, delegates voted to pass the following resolutions: Establishing Committees of the Provincial People's Council; Establishing the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; promulgating the Working Regulations of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 202-2026; plan to organize regular meetings in 2025 of the 19th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026; resolution on establishing specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.

Leaders of Tuyen Quang province presented flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Provincial People's Council and the Committees of the Provincial People's Council.

At the same time, announce the resolutions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on: Approving the number and list of Deputy Heads and Members of the Committees of the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term. Appointing members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. Establishing the Provincial People's Council Delegation; assigning the Head and Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council Delegation.

Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, presented the decision to establish and appoint Party personnel of provincial Party agencies.

Also on the afternoon of July 1, Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on the establishment of agencies, units and decisions on personnel for leadership and management of agencies, units of the provincial Party and mass organizations. The Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee issued 12 decisions to establish 4 Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee; 5 specialized agencies to advise and assist the Provincial Party Committee; 2 public service units directly under the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
