After the first round of group stage matches of the 2024/2025 Southeast Asian Champions League (ASEAN Shopee Cup 2024/2025), the organizers selected the four best goals, and Vietnamese clubs had two representatives.

Luiz Antonio's long-range goal in the 87th minute of Thanh Hoa's 3-1 victory over Shan United secured a crucial three points for the Thanh Hoa team. Meanwhile, Phan Van Duc's goal in the 3rd minute helped CAHN FC defeat strong Thai representative Buriram United 2-1 in their first international appearance.
The other two goals honored belonged to Gabriel Silva (Svay Rieng) in the Cambodian club's 3-2 victory over Terengganu FC in Malaysia, and Leo Gaucho (Borneo) for a lob goal in the match against Lion City Sailors.
An impressive performance in the match where CAHN FC defeated Buriram United 2-1 earned Phan Văn Đức a recall to the Vietnam national team to prepare for the FIFA Days matches in September.
