Pymepharco Joint Stock Company, formerly Phu Yen Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies Company, was established in 1989 and is headquartered in Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province. After more than 35 years of development, the company has become one of the leading pharmaceutical enterprises in Vietnam, owning two manufacturing plants that meet EU-GMP standards – the highest pharmaceutical manufacturing standards in Europe – and also holding ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. Since 2021, Pymepharco has officially become the sole member of the STADA Group (Germany) in Vietnam.

During the meeting, representatives from Pymepharco Joint Stock Company presented several difficulties and obstacles encountered after converting their operating model to a joint stock company with foreign investment. Notably, the company faced issues related to the investment registration certificate, which prevented them from completing customs procedures for importing medical equipment. Additionally, the company requested guidance on the procedures for transferring land back to the local authorities after the organizational change.

Based on the discussions at the meeting, Mr. Dao My, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the Customs Sub-Department of Region XIV to closely coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently review and resolve all obstacles regarding customs procedures in the clearance of imported medical equipment for the company; ensuring compliance with legal regulations while creating the most favorable conditions for the enterprise; and for departments and agencies, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to continue to support the enterprise in its operations, investment, and production and business activities in the province.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Dak Lak province always values and wishes to cooperate with businesses, resolving difficulties and obstacles so that businesses can operate effectively and make positive contributions to the socio -economic development of the province.
