UniHack 2024 is organized by the Google Developer Student Club community (belonging to the University of Science and Technology, University of Danang ) and Google Developer Group Cloud Danang for students who are passionate about technology and programming in the Central region.
In the end, The Seekers team won the UniHack 2024 Championship with the project “Hidden Gems: Application to support searching for tourist destinations”. The application focuses on exploiting unique and little-known tourist destinations; at the same time, ensuring that the introduced locations are of high quality and suitable for each person's interests.
The runner-up prize of the contest belongs to the Longtail Hamster team with the project “Spoter - Millions of Destinations”. This is a social networking application where the travel enthusiast community can share real travel experiences and objectively evaluate destinations. With the unique 3D screen travel feature, users will have a realistic view of their destination.
It is known that UniHack 2024 is the third season of the competition. With the theme of Digital Tourism, young people can apply their knowledge to achieve the goal of contributing and raising awareness about the National Digital Transformation project and improving the quality of tourism in the city.
In addition, Digital Tourism projects "incubated" at the competition will continue to be developed and improved by the teams to bring breakthrough technology solutions to the tourism industry in Da Nang city in particular and Vietnam in general.
