Awarding the AIA Healthiest School Program 2025 - Season 3

DNO - On the evening of July 3rd, in Da Nang city, AIA Group held the regional awards ceremony for the "AIA Healthiest School 2025" program in the Asia-Pacific region.

With the goal of equipping students aged 5 to 16 with the knowledge and resources necessary to build healthier lifestyles, AIA's Healthy Schools program has expanded to eight markets across the Asia- Pacific region since its launch, positively impacting thousands of students and teachers.

At the heart of the programme is a vibrant competition that encourages schools to develop innovative initiatives aimed at improving nutrition, increasing physical activity, taking care of mental health and promoting sustainable development in the school environment.

The 2024-2025 school year competition saw a record number of entries. Each entry was a testament to the creativity and collaboration between students and teachers in the journey to create sustainable behavioral change.

Stuart A. Spencer, Group Marketing Director of AIA, shared: “The AIA Healthiest School Contest not only celebrates outstanding projects but also inspires positive movements that extend beyond the classroom. This is a living testament to our mission: Helping people live healthier, longer, and happier lives.”

The awards ceremony was held in Da Nang city, with a total prize value of up to 100,000 USD to support schools to continue implementing health and welfare initiatives for students.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee awarded the Best School award to UPTD SD Negeri Papela School (Indonesia); the Health and Sustainable Development award to Tessaban 1 Kittikachorn School, Thailand; the Mental Health award to SMP Negeri 43 Bandung School, Indonesia; the Active Lifestyle award to Jaffna Hindu College, Sri Lanka; and the Healthy Eating award to Happy Hollow National High School, Philippines.
