Established through the merger of the former communes of Ta Hine, Da Loan, and Ninh Loan, Ta Hine commune ( Lam Dong province) has a large geographical area, a scattered population, and a relatively high percentage of ethnic minorities. In this context, disseminating information to the people, especially women in remote areas, has always been a priority for the Women's Union of the commune.
Currently, the Association has 24 branches with 3,510 members. Of these, more than 1,070 members are ethnic minorities, accounting for over 30%. This is also the group that needs more support in accessing information, improving digital skills, and using technological tools in their lives.
According to Ms. Phan Thi To Oanh, President of the Women's Union of Ta Hine commune, instead of just using traditional methods of dissemination, the Union has promoted the application of digital platforms to deliver information to its members more quickly and conveniently.
The Association's Zalo and Facebook groups are regularly maintained to update members on new policies and guidelines, information on daily life, production, healthcare, children's education , and local activities. Thanks to this, many members can access information from home without having to wait for meetings or group activities.
In addition to providing information, the Association focuses on guiding members in using technology in their daily work. Numerous training courses are organized to help women become familiar with digital platforms, from using online public services and cashless payments to searching for information on the Internet.
For rural and ethnic minority women, the training content is designed to be simple, easy to understand, and relevant to their practical needs. Many women have learned to use smartphones to introduce products, sell online, or promote local agricultural products on social media.

Simultaneously, the Association also applies technology in its management activities. Member records are updated on management software, documents are exchanged electronically, and many documents are digitized and shared via QR codes. These changes make the Association's operations more convenient, reduce paperwork processing time, and increase the efficiency of communication between branches.
Notably, 100% of women's associations in Ta Hine commune are now using social media platforms for their communication efforts. This is an important information channel that helps policies and guidelines reach members quickly, especially in areas far from the center.
Besides improving digital skills, the Association also focuses on ensuring the safety of its members in the online environment. Topics such as identifying fake news, preventing online fraud, and protecting personal information are integrated into meetings and training sessions.
The Women's Union of Ta Hine commune also maintains many social welfare activities. Programs such as "Godmother," "Sharing Love Through Gifts," and "Helping Children Go to School" are regularly implemented, contributing to supporting women and children in difficult circumstances in the area.
According to Ms. Phan Thi To Oanh, for movements to gain the consensus of members, the most important thing is that they stem from the actual needs of the people. When people see concrete benefits for their families and lives, they will proactively participate. In addition, Association officials must regularly stay close to the grassroots, listen to members' opinions, and resolve issues arising from practical situations.
