Automated payment system at Uniqlo stores

In 2021, Uniqlo officially launched an online store including a website version and a mobile application, operating in parallel with the retail store. After 2 years of launch, the application has reached 2,500,000 downloads and introduces more than 15,000 products.
Earlier this year, Uniqlo continued to deploy the automatic payment system in some major stores. Customers just need to place their favorite products in the machine and make payment. The entire process of checking and calculating orders is completely automated, shortening the waiting time for payment. In addition, RFID technology embedded in the labels helps track information of each product, accurately controlling the amount of products available in the store.
Also at the event, Uniqlo revealed that the number of retail stores in Vietnam increased nearly 4 times compared to the first year, with the proportion of Made in Vietnam products in domestic stores being more than 50%.
