
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Van Dinh Commune People's Committee Pham Thuy Hoa said that the program in collaboration withFPT University has practical significance in bringing technology and digital skills closer to the people, contributing to promoting digital transformation, administrative reform and building a digital government from the grassroots level.
According to the People's Committee of Van Dinh commune, the locality has achieved many positive results in digital transformation in recent times. 100% of officials and civil servants have digitally signed outgoing documents; 100% of incoming documents are processed digitally, except for confidential documents. The "Digital Literacy Movement" has been widely implemented in the locality; community digital transformation teams support people in using VNeID, iHanoi, online public services, and electronic payments. All 30 village cultural centers have been equipped with computers, printers, scanners, and free Wi-Fi.
Through this cooperation program, the People's Committee of Van Dinh commune hopes that FPT University will support people in accessing online public services and digital payments; assist people in digitizing documents, applying artificial intelligence, and developing the digital economy for business households and small traders.

In Van Dinh commune, nearly 50 FPT University students will participate in an internship from May 21st to August 21st, 2026, as part of their official internship semester.
Speaking on behalf of the participating students, Nguyen Dinh Trieu, a Software Engineering student from FPT University, said that the program is an opportunity for students to apply their knowledge to practice, directly collaborating with the government and citizens in building a digital government, a digital society, and digital citizens.
